Alexus Harris, who is graduating from the College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree this semester, is the latest individual to be featured in the college's ongoing audiovisual series, Artistic Voices.
Artistic Voices is a series of short audio commentary from our creative College of the Arts community. Each clip features a different artist from the college with special behind-the-scenes insight into their latest research or creative activity.
Harris is a creative born in Dayton, Ohio and raised in Lithonia, GA. She creates paintings based on Black experiences within the Black community and cultural world. Harris specializes in black and white aesthetics with inspiration from day-to-day issues in the Black community.
